Context
Need for a global maritime distress and safety system (GMDSS) training and education environment that faithfully replicates communications and equipment.
Solution
Soologic’s team of engineers developed a mixed system between software virtual teams, physical teams that replicate real teams and also completely real teams.
Among others:
- NAVTEX, marine rescue team.
- DSC (Digital Selective Call) for emergencies (SOS).
- Inmarsat C, for satellite communication.
- Radio Beacons.
